March 22nd, cyberpresse released an article called : Dire Non au Hip-Hop pour avoir un permis d'alcool. It explained that a bar in the West-island called Le Pionnier was required to sign a contract agreeing to never play hip-hop so that they may get their liquor permit. This contract was written up by the SPVM and Regie d'alcool. This is blatant discrimination against a very specific minority and is manipulation of the image of Hip-Hop, which we will not stand for. On today's show we took the time to dissect how what this contract represents and talked with K-Rim (one of mtl's finest MCs) about the action plan that the mtl Hip-Hop community is preparing in a response to this injustice.
