AFROPEANISM : SUBVERTING HISTORY
Talk and lecture by Roland Gunst and Sibo Kanobana in a carte blanche to Ayoko Mensah (Fr/Be)
The sound piece explores and questions the work of two Flanders based artists, Roland Gunst and Sibo Kanobana, entitled “The Reign of Afropeanism”. They work on the history of the African presence in Europe seen from the history of Flanders. This history of Flanders is based on real facts as well as fiction.

+ VISIBLE / INVISIBLE by Abdellah M. Hassak (Ma)
Visible/ invisible, is a sonic and poetic performance inspired by project Fixed Sand 2015, which explores science-fiction in the Islamic and Arab imaginary. The performance is part of a broader research and creative project in which Koranic recitations, Arab mythologies and cultural heritage encounter the digital world and mingle with notions drawn from hard sciences.
