Roots Musings - The Bollock Brothers: A look back at punk

Roots Musings - The Bollock Brothers: A look back at punk. In late June 2017 Jock McDonald came home for a visit - so, nothing wrong with an Irishman coming home - God knows there are enough of us dispersed around the world. But Jock coming home is a different story. Jock is the battery pack that ensures his band 'The Bollock Brothers' out do Duracell. He has been ministering to the faithful for over 40 years and maintains an uncanny ability to be in the right place, with the right people at the right time. In the early days, he hung out in Dublin with Phil Lynott, he spent time in Glasgow, before landing in London where his neighbours were The Lydons - the family that gave us Johnny Rotten! I have to apologise for a couple of glaring gloopers in this show: I call Jock's band 'The Bollocks Brothers' they are 'Bollock' - singular. I refer to Jock's first band as '2 Be 4' where, in fact, they were '4 Be 2'. Expect to hear: Ian Hunter, Bollock Brothers, PIL, Buzzcocks, 4BE2 and more!
