Detroit, United States
Since the age of 14, using a top load cassette tape player, boom box, and a single turntable, I began to create R&B mixes mostly for my own enjoyment at the time. It was not until my senior year of high school I decided to share my craft with the masses (at that time the neighborhood parties). I entered the U.S. Army in 1983 and by mid 1984, I was the headline DJ at the post Officers club, as well as an off base venue called "The Zoo", where I paired with NYC DJ "Rah-Gee". I returned to Detroit and landed at the infamous "Climax Lounge" with local DJ Donafay Collins. Staying true to my R&B roots, I created a lot of remix on the fly songs (instrumental + vocals) which went over well once I started the "Cabaret" scene in early 1987. House Music was first introduced to me by my brother, a pioneer in the inception of early EDM in the early 80”s… In early 2003 I merged my R&B/Soul roots with EDM and gave birth to RHYTHMOLOGY m.u.s.i.c. (Mixing.Universal.Soul.Into.Culture) STAY TUNED!
