My former roommate Tyrone is a big fan of Instrumentals from the '60s. I've made four instrumental mixes prior to the volume 5 compilation that I've posted here and thought that he might be interested in one of those but, for him, it has to be in stereo. So, I decided to distill a mix out of the songs used in the first four volumes of my instrumental mixes, but use only stereo tracks. This is the result. This compilation features three artists that were used more than once each: Henry Mancini, Ramsey Lewis, and Booker T. & The MG's (pictured). It is mostly of music of the '60s but includes four other songs from 1971-1972, plus a long one by the Eagles from 1975 (which was featured as the theme music to the British mini-series of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy").
