The first track actually was added a day after the mix was made when I was trying to come up with a title for it. It occurred to me that the Bee Gees track would make a good one and then decided to add the song as the opener. However, it is the third track that was the first to come to mind as the inspiration for the mix that everything else spun off of (it was originally the first track and then switched places with the James Taylor track). All but track 1 (in the current version) were lined up in DJ mode; me picking the next one before the previous one ended). As is usual, I don't like to be bound too strictly to a theme so as to make the mix a bit more interesting to listen to. Such tracks that were a bit off theme wise but I think were also in the groove mix wise were tracks 10, 12, 14, 16, 17 and the two closers or a third of the mix. This compilation is comprised mostly (12 tracks) of ‘70s tunes, with half as many songs originating from the ’60s.
