A six part series with Mark Aitken. This inaugural edition of sonic photography features an image taken on Christmas Day in Mexico, 2012 by Mark, who reads from diaries kept over the period that reflect on the dramatic build up to the moment the picture was taken. The theme of trying too hard - resulting in not trying at all - to produce work is explored. Sounds embed the picture in the Chihuahuan desert near the frontier city of Juárez.
