A six part series with Mark Aitken. This week: William Strudwick and Eadweard Muybridge were two pioneering photographers from London. Both men documented cities in ways that had never been done before. Strudwick ended his life in a pauper's house in Croydon. Muybridge spent his last days trying to retain credit for his work. Dave Western joins Mark to discuss these early cityscapes and play sounds and music inspired by the photographs.
