An anecdotal history of classical music presented by 19 year-old composer and writer Jack Pepper. Today Jack explores the groups of audience members who were paid by performers to heckle other soloists, the composer who lied in an interview about being captured by cannibals and almost roasted, and the music figure who was lined up against a wall to be shot in WW1, only for the Germans to let him go after deciding he was a nice man. Also featured today is the composer who realised the Dr Who theme tune. All episodes can be heard on jackpeppermusician.com. Follow @jrapepper on Twitter and use the hashtag #MusicalMinds.
