French & Mottershead and forensic anthropologist Dr. Carolyn Rando offer insights into the artist duo’s new immersive audio works that “take the listener to a place none of us will ever experience”; the body’s decomposition after death. Richard Whitelaw, Director of Programmes at Sound and Music, moderates the conversation. French & Mottershead is the UK artist duo Rebecca French and Andrew Mottershead. Their work with Carolyn Rando, includes a symposium at UCL ‘The Experience of Death in the Public Realm’ (February 2016). New work ‘Afterlife’ will be ready for exhibition from Spring 2016.
