Lucas Keen tells the story of a musical friendship across continents.
In 2003 British musician Lucas Keen began visiting West Africa to learn traditional music and instruments. In Burkina Faso he met Moussa Pantio Diabaté a master of the large West African xylophone known as a balafon, and began a musical apprenticeship.
Moussa's life story inspired Lucas, and in March 2013 with support from The Arts Council England they recorded an album together in Moussa's hometown Bobo Dioulasso.
