This show was 40th in the global dub chart and 50th in the global reggae chart.
Something a likkle different for you all: the 2008 Lee Perry album "The Mighty Upsetter", with 8 of the 11 tracks presented inna extended discomix fashion, vocal tracks blended with dub versions from the "Dub-Setter" album.
Now, to my ears, most modern Scratch projects are pretty unlistenable; his rambling stream-of-consciousness vocal style soon loses appeal, especially if it's over some computerized digikal riddims. BUT, this album is something really rather special; it's wildly experimental, it sounds fresh, and the reworking of old Scratch productions into bold new forms is both exciting and coolly familiar.
Great album. Listen with an open-mind idrens.
