The ISF Educational Trust wanted to make education in the English language more affordable to the students of Antwerp so they set up a project called IES-A. After normal school hours Flemish students can attend classes in English with a few to sitting the Cambridge Young Learners Exams and receiving an internationally recognised certificate in English language proficiency. Students of IES-A cover some of the same subjects that they would learn in their World Orientation classes in the Flemish schools but they do so through the medium of English. The ISF Educational Trust realised that the fees for the international schools were too expensive for many students who may want to study through the medium of English and is now providing English Language education, at a vastly reduced rate, to the multi-cultural student population of Antwerp city. The ISF Educational Trust are also involved in the ISF International School of Waterloo and a bi-lingual childcare facility in Antwerp city.
