"At last/The skies above are blue/My heart was wrapped up in clovers/The night I looked at you"
Etta James, pioneering soul singer has passed away. We salute a 50 year stint in the business the only way we know how: a couple of our favourites that her wonderful voice produced. Also this week, some vigorous rag-bashing with Radiohead with some brand new tunes from The Maccabees, MiikeA Snow and SBTRKT. We've some new exciting faces in Jhameel and Ren Harvieu, while Bonobo and TEED more than make up the numbers. We also have a blast from the past as David Burt surprises us with our first (and probably last) phone-in. There is also some talk of fish and chips, some radio innuendo, Clarkson mocking, man-spray testing and other rather strange conversations in this our 34th installment. Tune in, speakers in and enjoy. Let us know what you're thinking at www.radiojuan.co.uk, Twitter, Facebook, Mixcloud and [email protected]
