'You know, I'll never fade away, but if I do, it'll be because you asked me to' Episode 18 man. It's like the best kind of legal high dude. Keeping it Electric and Eclectic this week. Brand new Kasabian opens the show and is the direct result of Bobby Gillespie and Keef Flint having angry make-up sex. We've got B.E.Autiful numbers from Cults (encouraging outdoor frolicking); Spector (discouraging murderous rampages) and Seapony (encouraging a little get away from the hectic lives we lead). Ollie plays Warpaint finally, and declares love for the lead guitarist and Vic leaves speakers smokin' with a couple of raucous remixes from Axwell & Dirty South and Mr Breakbot, who preys on unsuspecting musicians walking down French boulevards (Vic's summer playlist expands once more in this our 18th outing). The Strokes are given much needed airtime, as are Martin Solveig (repelling his classical upbringing) and Animal Farm. We also have Young Knives and Strange Talk kicking about.
