One of Britain’s most original comedians comes to the Corn Exchange in Brighton on October 8th and 9th. Mark Thomas rose to fame in the late 1980s on the Mary Whitehouse Experience, and went on to script and star in his own show, the Mark Thomas Comedy Product, on Channel 4 in 1996.
Mixing a keen eye for left wing politics and personal daily experiences of life, Mark Thomas brings his new show Bravo Figaro to Brighton. Known for his daring political comedy stunts– once described as a ‘brilliantly ludicrous alternative to Watchdog,’ Mark Thomas is known for using surreal and comedic methods to politicians and corporate managers to highlight the hypocrisy inherent in Britain’s political and economic systems.
An interview with Mark will be broadcast this Thursday 4th October, and repeated again on Monday 8th October. Watch this space
