Sonic Turkey is a series of shows curated by Evin Bilgin (@lirikadare) about contemporary musical experimentation. Nowadays, Turkey goes through a quasi-permanent reinvention of itself, or perhaps a much needed deconstruction as it tries to catch up with different aims and speeds coming from all layers of society. In this first show, 'Ethereal Deconstruction' attempts a collage-storytelling of Turkey, both narrative and musical, made with collections of sounds, samples, sonic environments and cultural audio motives.
