Charles Regl was a public mediator with the San Francisco Neighborhood Meditation Program. Mediation sessions helped local residents address disputes before they could escalate into violence or become embroiled in litigation. But when funding was cut, Charles sought a way to continue to make a living with the skills and experience he’d developed over the years.
Dismayed by pet custody disputes that failed to understand the deep emotional bond between people and their companion animals, he found a way to blend his expertise at facilitating agreements, his compassion for animals, and interest in the power of internet technology to launch The Pet Custody and Mediation Center.
