Back to the eighties starting off with a definite Celtic influence, Mike Scott & his Waterboys, The Pogues and then everybody’s favourite band to bitch about U2. Then
one of the great men of our time David Bowie, followed by another great man and another David, Byrne. On to a band who gave it up at the right time, The Smiths with ‘This Charming Man’ a classic followed by another classic ‘In Between Days’ The Cure. Hit the floor running with Teardrop Explodes, James and ‘Sit-down’ plus 2 great bands who sadly didn’t seem to hit the big league, Del Amitri and Prefab Sprout. Pulsating into the home straight with the superb ‘Steppin’ Out’ the sumptuous ‘Golden Brown’ finishing with the outstanding Go-Betweens and The Blue Nile.
