This show was 1st in the global disco chart, 1st in the global electro chart, 3rd in the global soul chart, 3rd in the global funk chart and 5th in the global r&b chart.
These songs from the 1980s are mostly based in the tradition of disco, but house sounds are peeping around the corner now and then. From the mid-eighties house music started to push disco (boogie) away. The opening track is a great collaboration between British duo EKKAH and electro funkateer DāM-FunK. It's a brand new song, but they sound like Patrice Rushen in her creative heyday, around 1982.
