Ian Little CISSP, CEH KG5LNL – was born in London, England. As a young boy growing up, he developed the skill and passion for dumpster diving, looking for discarded electronic and mechanical devices and became very good at repairing things such as TVs, Radio and Amplifiers; and later on Test gear - selling the devices for profit. At High School the Physics professor, Dr. Shah, encouraged him to form an Electronic Hobbyist club. Members met twice a week (skipping Rugby practice as a bonus) to build and test all sorts of early gadgets. His career started at an Avionics company where he built custom test gear for various military and commercial avionic systems; and designed one of the first RFID devices. In the U.S., he has worked at Sprint, Verizon and Cisco Systems as a Security Solutions Architect for customers including DHS, DoD, DoE. He is currently self-employed as CEO of EcoSheltr where he is a Security Investigator, and virtual CISO for a number of small companies.
