Hour 1 – Dubbed ‘The baby making mix of 2011′ by Nick from the Funk Hunters it only seemed appropriate to play out Neon Steve’s ‘Opposite Attracts’ mix on Valentines Day. Hailing from Canada Neon Steve (known as Steve Robertson to his mum) is better known for dishing out bass heavy Ghetto Funk for Bombstrikes and remixing the whose who of Canadian dubstep artists so this mix came as a bit of a surprise.
Hour 2 Jungle is something that is hard not to love and definitely harder not to dance to and the whole 140 movement has brought that back to mainstream dancefloor. This was bubbling in the underground for years with the Hardcore Breaks and J-Tek scenes but it took (annoyingly for a lot of people) a certain dubstep producer from Croyden to remix La Roux ‘In For The Kill’ to bring it back to the general public.
