Severo Perez talks about his delightful novel of 1961 San Antonio, Odd Birds. The novel tells the story of Cuban-born artist Cosimo Infante Cano, who finds himself stranded thousands of miles from his Paris home. Aided by his creativity and the friendship of three young library workers, he navigates the streets and bridges of this unfamiliar Texas city. Steve Davis, Literary Curator of the Wittliff Collections, joins us to discuss Odd Birds.
