Nu-Jazz Funk Radio Show 1 Year Anniversary Podcast 3-1: House/Dance

Playing tracks by

Flintstones, Kings Of Tomorrow, Salome De Bahia/Dmitri From Paris, Petergail Williams, Doman and Gooding and more.

This podcast is part of a series of shows to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Nu-Jazz Funk Radio Show: a show dedicated to introducing new music from new artists in the genres of nu-jazz, jazz-funk, acid jazz, neo-soul, funk, soul and house. These shows are to show you the music that inspires me.

So why house music?

When I played in the band "Eclectic Soul" many years ago I was introduced to a lot of house music by Petergail Williams and Thomas Reynolds. It was through the more soulful house/deep house sounds that I was guided to the jazz-funk/acid jazz sounds that I perform today. In fact I've added the song "Peace Love and Happiness" in this podcast in part because Petergail wrote the song and Thomas produced the track (but more because its an awesome tune).

This is a mixtape of the house music I like: a mix of deep, soulful and Brazilian house. I hope you enjoy it.

The Anniverary Series is available only on the Mixcloud page.
