This week NSR reports on the last week's activity against the proposed cuts to higher education and trebling of tuition fees, including the two National Days of Action and the occupation of the Newcastle University Fine Arts building.

Interviews include those with members of the occupation, school students who walked out to lead the protests and lecturers supporting the direct action taken by students.
