My guest this week is King County Executive Dow Constantine. Before leading one of the largest regional governments of the United States, Dow learned the college radio ropes as a late-night DJ on KCMU while attending the University of Washington, an experience which instilled in him a love of music that continues today. Sometimes songs define a place and time. Other times they are like old friends that we carry with us through life. Both have played an important role for this lifelong Seattleite.
