We all have albums in our library that we consider must own items. Yet, somehow we rarely revisit them. This week we break out those albums in one massive hit. Mostly well known items, these may have been overplayed in their release years or simply well loved when discovered. Either way, they hold a place in our hearts but are often left sitting on the shelves for a special occasion such as Episode 130!

Great show start to finish!
Only band I didn't know was Goatsnake (but they sounded awesome).
I bought Nevermind on CD after the first radio single blew up my car stereo. It was the first CD where I learned that bands could put hidden tracks at the end of the album. I was listening to the whole CD for the first time at a pretty loud volume in my parent's house; I had to leave my room before Something In The Way ended; when I came back, I noticed the last track was still playing (the seconds and minutes kept ticking up). I then proceeded to fast-forward while playing -- trying to figure out what was going on. All of a sudden, a wall of loud, fast-forwarded noise started coming out of my speakers that genuinely startled me into releasing the fast-forward button which only made the noise even louder. AHHHHHHH!
Of course, I realized the awesomeness of this "hidden" discovery, and I eventually learned that the name of the track was Endless, Nameless. Was it also on the cassette this way (hidden)?
Have a Happy Halloween!

Monuments In Ruin

Thank you for listening! I do not remember that track being on the cassette. I also never owned the CD version so, when i searched the track, it was a new tune to hear! Thank you for that.
I had this same experience with a Bloodlet - The Seraphim Fall CD! haha!! So funny to be minutes into silence and suddenly everyone in the room is confused.
