From 2004 - 2012, Frankfurt duo Motorcitysoul cut a fine line in sumptuous deep and tech house grooves on imprints du jour like Freerange, Ibadan Records, Aus and SImple.

Pursuing the more melodic, dreamy elements of his former act’s composite sound, Vogt has forged a name for himself with his classy, deep, atmospheric works in recent times. Outings on labels like James Zabiela’s Born Electric and Fred Everything’s Lazy Days Recordings have been met with increasing acclaim, and there’s more on the way for Anjunadeep in the coming months. We’ve been trying to get a mix from him from the very start, so it’s with great pleasure we bring you this sublime session from Vogt, complete with a previously unreleased remix of Lana Del Rey.

"It was the first time for me to do a mix with just my own music. It gave me flashbacks and memories. Hope you dig."

Andy Herbertson vocal? As a compliment It sounds similar to Jason Mraz, but I don't like the sugarcoated happy-go-lucky vocal heavy genre from Mraz, wish some of these vocalists would switch it up and expand, the dark texture that's coupled with this makes it perfect, and then into the 2nd track, a little more light-hearted, perfection.
