I will admit that when I look at gigs at which the most money flew into my pocket, it was for weddings and corporate events where it was understood that I wouldn't be trying to impress the folks with crazy underground vibes and rare 70s vinyl gems etc... I am fond of popular music when it is solid and I have drunkenly shaken my ass to Justin Timberlake on numerous occasions.
Some of my music nerd friends will shake their heads disapprovingly, but no DJ can deny that familiarity will help refill the dancing zone and can also help open some humans up to the less well-known jams you wish to bestow upon them.
A tasty and classy re-edit or mashup can function to satisfy your musical needs AND the karaoke type vibes many humans want when they go out after a hard week's work.
Anyway, take a gander at the tracklist and click at your own peril. If you are in the zone to hear classic Motown flavours and club hits reworked in a novel way, then do proceed.
