What do you get when you combine the sounds of '70s and '80s Disco, mid '80s Italo Disco and Funk with a huge chunk of modern electronic technology and a twist of European New Wave synth pop? You get Neo-Disco, or "Nu Disco". It's a newly formed EDM genre that was introduced a couple of years after the start of the 21st century (2002-2008). Lots of artists, producers and DJs gained a renewed interest in the sounds of Disco and New Wave and put together a new sound based on this concept. Included here are tracks from the "Milky Disco" trilogy as well as a few tracks from the "Body Language" series, with some added bonuses from Germany's Quantec and Quentin Allen's "Karu" project, all mixed by yours truly, Dallas' Keven Johnson II. Time to 'freak out'!
