The town of Komiža situated on the remote island of Vis deep in the Adriatic sea is a home of an on-going project PhD in One Night, initiated by collective People Coming from Nowhere gathered with the idea of sharing knowledge through artistic interventions that are called the Theatre of learning. Invited by Ivana Momčilović I found my self in Komiža on the last day of July and in front of bunch of amazing local kids. It was late evening and we had 10 minutes to prepare what would wrap up as an amazing improv ensemble. I gave them instruments they never played, triangle, old hand-radio, small wooden shakers, mouth harmonica, broken music box, ordinary cardboard box, and we had piano, violin, guitar and trumpet. On top of that local 19y old el. guitarist named Jurica joined, Gregoire Rousseau was setting his solar instruments, Lujo Parežanin borrowed alt sax from a local brass band and I conducted by bowing cardboard, playing some violin and piano. https://www.phdinonenight.net/
