The Manchester Midi School is a college that specialises in all aspects of music production and DJing.
Based in it's own purpose built studios in Manchester, the school runs courses that cover everything from DAWs like Logic, Ableton, Cubase and Reason to synthesis and routing. It includes unlimited studio time on state of the art equipment and a family atmosphere for students of all abilities and musical tastes. The Midi School started the UK's first ever DJ course in 1997 and have since trained students that have gone on to work with Amy Winehouse, DJ Zinc, Chase and Staus and Lily Allen to number just a few. The school maintains strong links with today's music industry and has regular masterclasses from the likes of dubstep don Zed Bias, Alex Kidd, D'n B pioneer Marcus Intalex and King Unique. The Dj course teaches everything from the basics up to advance techniques like scratching and turntablism.
