Excellent Show, I didn't want it to end. I've been a Fan of JMJ since 1976 when my brother came home with a copy of Oxygene, when heard it I was blown away. Been to Many JMJ concerts - Destination Docklands, Main road Manchester (Europe in concert), NEC Birmingham (first Oxygene tour), NIA Birmingham (Indoors Tour - First Half of the tour then again on the second half the following year), Jarre's music just transports me into another world far far away, I never want to come back !!!!

Hi Daz - you're so welcome. Yes, have these moments when I don't want shows to end either! If you like Mike Oldfield, I'll be uploading my latest show very soon about Mike, and will be doing a Tangerine Dream special on the 12th or 19th September, subject to house move!

I am curious about one thing, the versin of Oxygene 2 you played, you said it was from Musik Aus Zeit und Raum, but I've got that Albu on CD and it's not the version you played, was this a cassette only version of the track??

Tim Prevett

Hi Daz - yes it was digitised version of the tape, which I bought in Koblenz, Germany in 1989!

Great show and excellent selection of music tracks related to JMJ for the celebration of JMJ's 65th Birthday. You did UK Radio proud, Tim. :)

Thanks, Kanta - you are very welcome. Of all the artists I love, Jarre's music was the first and is the longest enduring for me. Pleased you enjoyed it. I suspect there could be another in the future :D

Great words of impression that his music will hold for many of us in true excellence. I will definately tune in if there is another show dedicated to Jean Michel Jarre :D
