MLP#9 is a varied one this week with hip hop, electronic, jazz, disco beats and whatever else you find in there. We start with the excellent GoldLink whose mixtape 'The God Complex' is just brilliant, followed by the first of two tracks on MLP#9 from the Modula Beats album (again, highly recommended) by Dan Marshall. Next up is a track by CROWNS from a compilation called the Keats Collective Vol.5 on Bandcamp - check it out for more future funk tracks. We then have a hip hop vibe with Pyxis, J-Live and Essa followed by the next Dan Marshall track called 'Inbetween'. The amazing Anushka, signed to Gilles Petersons 'Brownswood' label are next with their track 'Never Can Decide' (find more of their stuff - so good), followed by some great electonica from Nikitch, CidRim, a Lone remix of Illum Sphere and D Tiberio. We close with a classic vibe from DJ Signify (those horns!) and finally some chilled nu jazz flavour from the brilliant GoGo Penguin!
