Uda Sjam, purveyor of rare Southeast Asian tunes, a passionate record collector, also the owner of Laidback Blues Record. This renaissance man specialises in – Ago-go, surf beat and Orkes Melayu, to name a few – but this time its gonna be mellow-er and a bit different from what he always presents.
During this pandemic, traveling has been restricted. Uda Sjam, through his music selection shares his memory of Jogja, a place where he could escape from busy capital. “I remember visiting MAHIJA’s studio, getting to know the local villagers, going to the ceramic studio, and driving around Jogja.
