Breakfast 31-01-2017 with Phil Gough (guest: Buckshaw Village debut author Alice Broadway ("Ink"))

About the show

Breakfast is with Phil today.

Guesting in the studio is Buckshaw Village-based debut author Alice Broadway. Alice’s first novel, Ink, aimed at the teenage reader, is in the shops this week (Ebb and Flo, Chorley; Waterstone’s, Preston and WH Smith, Deepdale Retail Park, all have copies). In Alice’s words the book deals with “identity, faith, friendship and trying to find out who you are when you’re a teenager.”

Alice's interview starts 40 mins. into the show (please drag the slider at the foot of the screen).

As for the lyric teaser, Phil chose a devilishly difficult one today. But you’re sure to shout “a-ha!!” when you finally get it! (Well, he did, anyway).
