Today's show includes a phone chat with Megan Titley from the Leyland Guardian about the stories that have caught her eye. Later we feature Friday's event in Bamber Bridge, the official opening of the community garden and a special iron tree.

The garden and tree are part of the £3.5 million regeneration work in the town under the Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire City Deal. The iron tree with zinc leaves is designed to weather over the years. Plaques on the low wall around the garden display the names of individuals and organisations who have special links to Bamber Bridge.
