Very nice!

Show includes:
- ‘The Blue Bird’ is an excerpt of a concert piece by Lithuanian composer Antanas Jasenka (premiere National Kaunas Drama Theater in August 31, 2017), based on Maurice Maeterlinck's original play. Antanas Jasenka opens up the harmonic spectrum full of the ethereal light, mystic and magic and brings us to “the Land of Memory, the Palace of Night and the Kingdom of the Future”.
- There's incredible range of natural, tender sounds and technological mediation in ‘Lowlands’. The sound of poetry, “a dialog between the artist Ester Vonplon and the music artists Taylor Deupree & Marcus Fischer initiated by IIKKI”.
- Darren McClure & Arovane create the immersive sensory experience of nest building – ‘Scrape’ with it’s light lining of down, pebbles, weeds or other debris conveyed through “layers of twisted audio, processed and bent into new shapes and soundscapes”.
- In contrast to finding a mystical ‘Blue Bird’ singing sweetness and light in someone’s home, “‘Folded Distance’ is a record about travel, but it is also about staying where you are and staying where you feel you belong.” The exotic sounds of ‘Solva’ bring the atmosphere of the geographically separated places intimately close.
- In ‘A Circulated Compendium Of Machinic Thoughts’ Bill Seaman employs variation in the melody, rhythm, and the balance of sound and silence.
- Porya Hatami eschews melody and offers new realms of sonic experience, a journey through fractal soundscapes. On Hatami’s album, each track is its own ‘Monad’, a dimension in and of itself.
- ‘Desert Fever’ by Virlyn (Frédéric Vanderlynden) brings a new energy to storytelling. A prayer, silent scream, and murmurs expressing intimate feelings whilst you’re journeying through unknown territory, feeling slightly lost but having hope and faith.
- Vitor Joaquim uses glitch and inharmonic sound effects, paired with birdsong in his ‘LX Dolce Vita’, capturing an image of unexpected, abstract and powerful patterns. Track composed with Miguel Carvalhais.
- Lee Yi’s ‘Antarctic Circle’ is a sonic oscillation, the true polar wander amidst atmospheric refraction and spectacular mirages, lucid and adrift at the other end of the spectrum.
