Playing tracks by
Depeche Mode, Blondie and Patti Smith Group.
Our good old pal Ben Wheatley has a new film out, it's called Free Fire and it's ridiculously fun. More on that in this week's show, plus the 'controversial' live-action remake of Ghost In The Shell, Alec Baldwin nets a pay-check in The Boss Baby, and a story of corruption in Graduation. And there was supposed to be a review of The Smurfs' latest big-screen adventure, but long story short, there isn't, but you'll soon find out why if you listen.
A lot of this week's music is from 1978 to celebrate Free Fire, so there's tracks from The Only Ones, Blondie, Patti Smith and Buzzcocks, plus some tracks not in keeping with that theme from Depeche Mode, alt-J and Ted Nugent.
