This story unfolds and is triggered by the origami of timbres by Lau Nau (Laura Naukkarinen), residing on the always nice and Finnish label Fonal. Dolphins into the Future aka Lieven Martens dives into the swamps of the bayou and stitches a sound tapestry with muddy tape. Hidden orchestra reworks Floex, the boat glides smoothly through still waters.
Halfway through Olly Peryman - aka Fis – heats it up and throws the sun over you. Rolling crescendos of snare drums -mulching and stifling the atonal strokes out of a piano’s inner bark -turning it all into a heavy slowdown mode. A feverish dream is glued with that thin cement of hallucination …night falls,…the trip tilts, becomes deeper and more intense ...
Then, the morning, a breeze freshens our salty skins. We’re leaving the bayou behind us, with Charles Cohen improvising on his Buchla synth.
