- between Bad Company and Thompson Twins, that's two songs you've played that I've heard before. That might be a record for your show!
- the kingston solo?
- great show, Johnny. as always, thanks.
Thanks C.I.! Yeah, I like to give the hits their due, too -- plus, sometimes it's fun to hear something familiar amidst the obscurities. Have a great week!
Thank you Mr JS, another quality music filled hour 😎🎶🎶😎
Thanks as always, SID! :-)
Amazing show. Loved the Louvin Brothers and I forgot how great that Police song is. Rock on!
Thanks as ever, tferd! Yeah, that is one of my favorite 'deep' Police cuts. I think there is a piano doubling the bass part on it, which makes it sound kind of sinister...
i'm hip to the heptones.love the tompson twins.once in a while i watch the country tv station and they show the Louvin bros. show there with marty stuart and wild kingdom reruns from the 60's. love this show a good mix bag of some great music as always. have a good weekend senor switchblade.
Thank you Senora Martini!
Thanks for playing some Canadian Content -- yes, I hadn't heard The Stroll from The Diamonds for years (they were the guys responsible for "Little Darlin'" -- heavy on the cowbell), and I believe our band used to play that one. As for the Manfred Mann song, Cock A Hoop actually means triumphantly pleased or boastful!
Oh, thank you, I was having a hard time finding a definition for that! And thanks as always for listening.
