Playing tracks by
Ennio Morricone, Bruno Nicolai, Johnny Mercer (Composer), Gerard Damiano, Waldo De Los Rios and more.
Sexy foreign, art house, and horror films from the 60's and 70's all seem to carry a similar theme or fetish, if you will, for sexual liberation. Even (if not, especially) the disgusting gore flicks.
While exploring my own fetish for these kinds of movies, I found that a lot of the soundtracks were better than the movies themselves. While the acting is sometimes sub par and the dubbing is way off and the story lines are cheap and often boring, the music tends to be spot on with the stylized themes glittering on the screen. My point is that these songs represent (sometimes better than) what the films were trying to do.
A lot of the movies featured in this mix are some of my favorites of all time and are for the most part very well made and worth the watch. They are named in parenthesis next to the song names. Some of them are obscure and hard to find, some are very well known, either way the music is good, so please relax and enjoy these cinematic sounds!
