Direct Provision houses nearly 5000 people in Ireland with no access to cooking facilities, no work, no social welfare and no idea as to when they can leave to start their lives. Ellie Kisyombe and Saham Muhamed give us their experience under this system, which was introduced in 2000 as a six month temporary measure to house asylum seekers.
