Members of the HAI and the European Humanist Federation were at the Stand For Truth event at Dublin’s Garden of Remembrance, last Sunday 26th August. A large crowd of 9,000 people stood in solidarity with clerical abuse victims, and then marched in silence to the site of the last Magdalene laundry on Sean McDermott Street. The Stand For Truth coincided with the Pope’s visit to Ireland.
