Episode 22: Local Election candidate Alan Edge (IND)

To continue our interviews with people making changes to society, I’ve come along to a pub quiz fundraiser for Independent local election candidate, Alan Edge, who is running for a seat on the Firhouse/Boharnabreena local council.
We talk about the recent positive developments in Irish society, what it’s like to be a first time political candidate, running as an independent, and how Humanism has informed his politics. I also speak to campaign manager Laura Whitehead, about the issues affecting the Local Election Area of Firhouse/Boharnabreena and why Alan Edge is the best person to tackle them.
