Paul Hanford is back this week, bringing you the newest and best underground and leftfield electronica and indie, with special guests Ed Dowie and Kathryn Gardner.
Ed stopped by to chat about his upcoming album ‘The Uncle Sold’, his personal band-based history (feat. a certain Paul Hanford) as well as how to make his perfect musical smoothie. Then it was time to get the glowsticks out in the studio as writer and director Kathryn dropped in to tell us all about her new Acid House play ‘Repetitive Beats’.
As well as that, there was the usual eclectic mix of tracks, including new music from Ty Segall, Dirty Projectors, Arcade Fire, Swimming Tapes and NxWorries, plus much more.
Hanford’s Half Hour is every Thursday 2-4pm, only on Hoxton Radio.
The Uncle Sold is out on the 27th on Norman Records.
Repetitive Beats is running at Vault Festival from 1st-5th March. Tickets are available here: http://www.vaultfestival.com/event/repetitive-beats/2017-03-01/?spektrix_bounce=true
