Strictly Riddims No 13 Mixed By Samrai

Inspired by dancehall riddims and the recent work of two of our favourite producers Murlo (Quartz EP) and Dubbel Dutch (Self Help Riddim), we have decided to launch the HDD Strictly Riddims mix series focusing on our favourite instrumentals. With this series we hope to increase appreciation for dancehall riddims and instrumentals as we feel that in dancehall the productions and producers don’t often get the props they deserve. The 13th mix in the series is by Samrai from Manchester crew Swing Ting. If you don't know about Samrai, you should! Not only a great DJ but a great producer as well. His mix focuses on well i'll let him describe it:
"Going for a 12" version excursions selection ft. 80s computer / digital dancehall into 90s with a few 00s pieces to finishoff as I thought they hadn't been covered as much by the series."
