Strictly Riddims No 12 Mixed By Knomad

Inspired by dancehall riddims and the recent work of two of our favourite producers Murlo (Quartz EP) and Dubbel Dutch (Self Help Riddim), we have decided to launch the HDD Strictly Riddims mix series focusing on our favourite instrumentals. With this series we hope to increase appreciation for dancehall riddims and instrumentals as we feel that in dancehall the productions and producers don’t often get the props they deserve. The 12th mix in the series is by New York's Knomad, the Dj and radio host who calls himself 'the bearded riddim purveyor' recorded a mix that is an 'exploration of the grey areas between versions, hip hop instrumentals, and bass music'.Make sure you check out his radio show on RWD Fm. We should also mention that he recorded this mix live in one take using serato & 1200s, pioneer mixer, outboard fx & his own custom made 4 bit dub siren.
