Episode 2 - Should Somali outlaw FGM culture in the country?

In July 2016, inter-states soccer competitions were held in Mogadishu for the first time. This competition was jointly organized by the Somali Football Federation and Banadir State’s Sports department. In Somalia, there used to exist inter-regions soccer completion between 1972 and 1990, when the country was in the firm control of the then military government. The government was overthrown later in 1991. During that time, players from the guest team would be given free accommodation by families living in the towns where they would spend overnight. The inter-state competition that was held in Mogadishu in 2016 was won by Puntland State of Somalia. Thousands of fans from every corner of the city milled the stadiums as teams from respective states played against each other. ...
