Given on Wednesday May 10th, this was the last in our series of heritage talks throughout April and May 2017 to mark the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Exeter.
These talks were organised as part of our Heritage Lottery Funded project ‘Reviving Lost History and building community'
After graduating from the University of St Mark and St John, Plymouth, in 2007 with a joint honours degree in History with Leisure and Tourism, Clare entered the field of local studies as an archive assistant for the Devon Record Office. She had written an undergraduate thesis on the post-Second World War reconstruction of Exeter and she is now working on a PHd thesis on the reconstruction of the South Western cities comparing their experience to that of the larger UK cities
